BALI is a community of California attorneys dedicated to building successful businesses providing affordable, accessible legal services. BALI is not a law firm. We are socially-mission community supporting diverse California attorneys committed to serving people historically not able to access legal representation due to cost, geographic isolation, or discrimination. Each individual attorney operates their own, distinct and independent practice.

Why do we do this? What is the magic behind our methods? BALI was envisioned by the Alameda County Bar Association in collaboration with five California law schools and the Alameda County Bar Association as an access to justice project. We know that to have a democratic rule of law AND successful legal business sector in teh modern economy where most people who cannot afford the cost of traditional legal services we have to reimagine legal business models to ensure the majority of people can enforce their legal rights in our legal system.
